Last Saturday I had the first birthday party - with friends - that I've had since I was 13 (that would be 12 years ago). I met with four of my close friends (all girls) for afternoon tea at a fancy hotel downtown. The hotel was beautiful, very elegant, and the tea was lovely. I had a good birthday on Monday. Stayed at home all day, opened presents (mostly books and cds, some other cool things too) ate yummy food my brother made me (including French toast, chilaquiles, and cake!) - I helped a bit with one part of the cooking, which is cool cause I love to cook. Thinking back on my journal in the past, I feel like I used to write a lot more frequently, or more regularly. But then again, looking at the archives section it appears that during the last several years I go through periods of posting a lot, and then posting nothing, so maybe the frequency issue is just blown out of proportion in my memories ( Read more... )
